2ND CHANCE (BARBER YOUTH) DIVERSION PROGRAM

2ND CHANCE PROGRAM

Youths arrested for minor infractions are given a second chance at life without a record. They complete a 12-week mentor program centered around barbering and life skills.

Building a vision

We are committed to helping youth build a vision by showing them how to create vision boards.

Our Team

Students train in the basic aspects of barbering. Every student receives a clipper set and documented hours towards a PA Barber License.

Students who show full potential can earn a full scholarship to PA Barber School.

Our History

This community work began in 2009, doing free haircuts at homeless shelters. Since then our team of volunteer barbers has been providing free haircuts, school supplies, and book bags.  We also have been providing toys for children during the Christmas season since 2009.

          Cancellations accepted up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Within 24 hours of the service, cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled cost.
